Pilgrims' Service

Venue: Cathedral Church of Christ the King, 49 Lydiard Street South, Ballarat. 3350

The Cathedral will host a Pilgrims' Service at 5pm on Palm Sunday, March 29.

The theme of the service is "Food for the journey" expanding on our Diocesan theme of "Called and Sent: a year of discipleship and apostleship.". A Pilgrims' Supper will follow, provided by the Churches of the Ballarat Deanery, consisting of bread, cheese, olives and oil, served with wine and juice. Bread, cheese, olives and wine will be used as symbols in the service itself, helping to illustrate our theme of "Food for the journey." Participants from each of the Deaneries will be involved.

As in the past two years, the music will be provided by a band of musicians. If you are a musician or singers and would like to be involved, all are welcome. We will rehearse at 4pm.

Please contact The Dean, Fr Chris Chataway - 5331 1183 or thecathedral@ballaratanglican.org.au for more information.
