The Registrar has prepared a simplified guide for parish council members as to the role of a parish council and their individual responsibilities.
It will not replace the Parochial Government Act or any other Acts of the Synod but hopefully will be an easy to understand resource to the most commonly used parts of our legislation as well as introducing some good practice governance principles.
At present this is in circulation with Parish Councils for feedback.

Episcopal Standards

Episcopal Standards complaints may be made against the Bishop of a Diocese. This is different to a Professional Standards complaint.
