  • What Type of Check?

    ALL Clerics (Parish & PTO), Ordinands, Diocesan Staff and paid parish employees should use the PAID STAFF MEMBER option.

    ALL other Laity should use the VOLUNTEER option.

  • Identification Documents

    You will need THREE identification documents of different types

    These documents are scanned in / photographed and uploaded by YOU. If you have issues with uploading documents please contact the Safeguarding Officer.

  • The most commonly used documents are:

    1. Australian Passport or Birth Certificate
    2. Drivers Licence
    3. Medicare Card
      Working with Children Card
      Bank Card

    There are other documents you can use and the initial page of the CrimCheck Application will show you these options.

  • Residential Addresses

    You will need to enter your residential addresses for the past five years.  Have them handy.
