Thank you Jesus is a small booklet of prayers for children. It can be used with church groups, given at baptisms or used as a gift for children and grandchildren.

Some suggestions for using these prayers.

• A good time to pray with children is just before bed, after the nightly story-time. Even if the child is too young to understand the meaning, the word sounds become a part of their experience.
• It may be helpful to use the same prayer every night so that children become familiar with a prayer – it could be as simple as a blessing for each family member. The child might then choose another prayer from the booklet to add each night.
• As children grow older they can make suggestions about what to include in their prayers.
